Possui Graduação em Administração de Empresas pela PUCRS (2009), Mestrado e Doutorado em Finanças pela UFRGS (2012, e 2016, respectivamente), e pós-doutorado em Contabilidade na Unisinos (2017). Realizou doutorado sanduíche na HEC-Montreal. Foi professor no Departamento Administração (IAG) da PUC-Rio e no Departamento de Ciências Administrativas (CAD) da UFSC.
