Ann L. Cunliffe

Doutorado pela Management School, Lancaster University, 1997. Ann Cunliffe é professora de Estudos Organizacionais da University of Leeds. Ela já ocupou cargos na University of New Mexico, California State University, na University of New Hampshire, USA e na University of Hull, no Reino Unido. Ela também é professora visitante da Fundação Getulio Vargas, no Brasil e da University of Strathclyde, na Escócia. Suas áreas de interesse são: estudos organizacionais, filosofia e comunicação, com foco no comportamento, na identidade e nas ações éticas das organizações. Em particular ela se interessa por explorar como as pessoas podem se envolver de maneira colaborativa, responsável e ética no gerenciamento das organizações. Outros interesses incluem: liderança; colaboração; desenvolvimento de abordagens reflexivas para pesquisa em administração, prática e aprendizagem; métodos de pesquisa qualitativa, e métodos de pesquisa qualitativa não tradicionais. Suas publicações mais recentes incluem o livro Key Concepts in Organization Theory com John Luhman (2012), e artigos no Organizational Research Methods; Human Relations; Management Learning; the Journal of Management Education; e Organization Studies. Em 2002, ela foi premiada com o Breaking the Frame Award do Journal of Management Inquiry pelo artigo que melhor exemplifica o desafio ao pensamento corrente . Ann é atualmente co-editora Chefe da revista internacional Management Learning e Editora Consultora da Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management. Ela é membro de 8 conselhos editoriais internacionais, foi Presidente da Divisão do the Critical Management Studies Division da Academy of Management (2010) e organiza a Qualitative Research in Management and Organization Conference, que acontece a cada dois anos. Ela tem titulo de Mestre e Doutora pela Lancaster University, Reino Unido.
